Make sure you bring your pet's food. It can upset their digestive system if we change food on them while boarding - it's important to keep their diet the same as it is at home. We can accommodate special diets and have a refrigerator and freezer to store food as necessary. We will get detailed feeding instructions from you at the time of drop off. Please bring enough food for your pet's stay but avoid bringing excessively large containers or bags. If you choose not to supply your own food, we will feed Flint River Ranch at an additional charge per meal.
We will give medications per your instructions while your pet is in our care. Please make sure we know what the medications are and what they are for. Please bring something yummy to hide medication in if your pet tends to resist taking it. Please note that we do not administer injections of any kind.
You are welcome to bring a bed, blanket or toy for your pet to make him feel more at home in his kennel. Personal items are not shared with other cats or dogs. We do provide beds but it is nice for the pets to have something from home also. Keep in mind that dogs may chew beds and toys while they are boarding as a result of the unfamiliar surroundings. Any bedding item or toy that becomes too damaged or that we believe may pose a hazard to your pet may be removed at the sole discretion of our staff. Space is limited so please keep personal items to a minimum.
Also provide current vaccination records per our vaccination policies if we do not already have a current copy on file.
